27 Days To Go!

What should I wear? Is there a dress code?

Knowing what to wear for a wedding can be tricky! While we want everyone to be comfortable and have fun, we also want to have a chance to dress up and show off for a couple of hours. The dress code is semi-formal/cocktail. Think cocktail dresses, suit and tie or sports jacket. If you want to go all out and dress right up, go for it!

Parking at the venue

Great news! Parking is literally next to the Chapel! It is on gravel so you will need to be careful when leaving the venue if you are travelling by car.

What happens after the ceremony?

We have you covered! While Mick and I go and have a couple of quick photos, with the amazing James Howarth, canapes and drinks will be served for an hour in the courtyard area just beside the Chapel. There are also some oversized outdoor lawn games to keep you entertained. You will all then be asked to make your way down to the Barrel Room. It is quite a long walk - it may take you all of 2 minutes if you take if very slowly! From there - it's time to P-A-R-T-Y and celebrate our nuptials!

What will the weather be like?

Cold. It's winter. Unless you are coming from America or the United Kingdom - it's going to be cold. For those of you coming from Queensland - it's may even feel like it is very cold. If you happen to be Carrie's new husband, you may think it is moderate though as he loves this time of year and will often be seen wearing a t-shirt and shorts while out at a shooting competition! What you can expect: * Daytime averages - 18C (64F) * Night time lows - 6C (43F) or lower Usually there are clear sunny skies during the daytimes but this means the nights are colder. When planning your outfits, think layers! The bridal party are looking fake fur stoles and furry wraps. There will be a lovely big fireplace going inside the Barrel Room as well to keep you all warm.

What time should I arrive?

Please help us get this beautiful day started on time and arrive at least 30 minutes before the time stated on your invitation. There is limited seating inside the Chapel and the first two rows will be reserved seating. There is lots to do at Peppers Village so please feel free to arrive 90 minutes early and go wine tasting!

Do you have a gift registry?

We are so thankful that you are joining us to celebrate our wedding with us and honestly feel your presence is gift enough for us. For those of you who wish to leave us a card so we have a memento to look back on in the years to come, we will have a small wishing well to leave these in.
